Murphy Closet Measurement Guide

To ensure a perfect fit for your custom Murphy Closet, please follow the measurement instructions below. Use the corresponding numbers and colors from the image to submit accurate dimensions.

Measurements Needed:

1. RO Height (Red): Measure the total height of the rough opening (from floor to the top of the closet frame).
2. RO Width (White): Measure the full width of the rough opening from one side to the other.
3. Door Jamb (Orange): Measure the depth of the door jamb.
4. Closet Depth (Yellow): Measure the distance from the front of the closet opening to the back wall.
5. Closet Length (Blue): Measure the total length of the closet, running parallel to the wall where the closet doors will be.
6. Left Hand Inset (Purple): Measure the depth of the left-hand inset, if your closet has alcove or recessed areas.
7. Right Hand Inset (Black): Measure the depth of the right-hand inset, mirroring the left-hand side.
8. Top Height (Green): Measure the height from the top of the closet frame to the ceiling.

Shipping Specifications

All Closet will be securely packaged and shipped on a pallet. The freight company will deliver the product to curbside only. Shipping is handled by third-party companies, and delivery scheduling is done by the freight company. Maderra has no control or guarantee over expected delivery dates or times, given that third-party companies handle the shipping.

Upon delivery, you are responsible for inspecting the product thoroughly for any defects or damages before the delivery driver leaves. If the product is found to be damaged or defective, you must list all damages on the “Bill of Lading” and reject the delivery.

Disclaimer: Freight companies may not be able to deliver to certain residential areas due to weight restrictions and the size of the cargo. If the carrier cannot deliver to your designated address, you, as the recipient, will be responsible for arranging pickup of the cargo from the nearest terminal at your own expense.

Each closet made by Maderra is considered custom-made and cannot be reused or sold. Once an order is submitted and paid for, after 24 hours from the date and time the order is received by Maderra, the order is final and non-refundable. You can cancel an order within 24 hours from the time and date the order is submitted for a full refund. All cancellations must be submitted in writing within 24 hours to customersupport@maderrashop.com.
