The Maderra Secret Closet Door is a beautifully designed hidden entry that conceals a fully functional closet or storage space behind an elegant built-in bookshelf. Unlike traditional hidden doors, this model combines upper display shelving with lower deep drawers, providing both functionality and refined design.
The upper bookcase section swings open to reveal your hidden room or closet, while the bottom drawers offer practical storage for clothing, shoes, or accessories. Each drawer is built with soft-close glides for a smooth, quiet operation and extends a full 22 inches deep for maximum capacity.
With a 6″ deep door frame and 4.6″ shelf depth, this design maintains a sleek profile while delivering ample front-facing display space. Inside the concealed area, optional inset shelving can be added if space allows, creating additional room for organization.
Handcrafted in the USA and made from engineered MDF, each Secret Closet Door is custom-built to order and pre-hung for straightforward installation. Ideal for walk-in closets, private dressing areas, or concealed storage, it brings a perfect balance of practicality, privacy, and modern craftsmanship.

How to Measure Your Door Opening
RO Height (Red): Measure the total height of the rough opening (from floor to the top of the closet frame).
RO Width (White): Measure the full width of the rough opening from one side to the other.
Door Jamb (Orange): Measure the depth of the door jamb.
Closet Depth (Yellow): Measure the distance from the front of the closet opening to the back wall.
Closet Length (Blue): Measure the total length of the closet, running parallel to the wall where the closet doors will be.
Left Hand Inset (Purple): Measure the depth of the left-hand inset, if your closet has alcove or recessed areas.
Right Hand Inset (Black): Measure the depth of the right-hand inset, mirroring the left-hand side.
Top Height (Green): Measure the height from the top of the closet frame to the ceiling.
Once we receive your measurements, Maderra will automatically deduct ¾” from the height and ¼” from the width.
This provides the necessary clearance and adjustment space for smooth installation of the prehung door frame.
